The unorthodox market pop-up just next to the all-famous Chatuchak. If your feet still has some magic to them, take a 5 minutes walk from Chatuchak and head to this creative pop-up market. A nice combination of local artists, vintage products, hand-made itemsĀ and tasty food pop-ups, the prices here are relatively as cheap as Chatuchak, minus the cliche tourist element.
The area is spacious and sport a trendy young crowd.
The best part would be sitting down to have a beer, take-away food from the pop-up stalls and enjoy the nice scenary sitting on barn like benches, with live music at the background.
We ended the night with beers and pop-up spicy pork with rice (at only 80 baht).
The best time to visit is definitely just before sunset. You cannot get a more spectaculor view.
And if you have a chance, spot the local talents who do creative paintings, handicrafts etc. Those little trinkets are worth buying and keeping and is a great contribution and appreciation of these talents.
